Multi-Award Winning Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist
FAQs
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
I'm lucky to have had the experience to work with many brands and feel I have amazing knowledge as to what works best for your wedding day. I only use luxury, premium make-up products from Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Nars and more. Hair products include Morrocanoil, Colour Wow, GHD, Olaplex, JVN and others.
HOW LONG SHOULD I ALLOW FOR HAIR AND MAKE-UP ON THE DAY?
Every wedding is different and we will have more of an idea after your trial, but as a general rule bridal hair and make-up takes an average of 2 hours, and bridesmaids 1.5 hours.
IS THERE A MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENT FOR MY WEDDING?
Due to high demand on peak weekends and bank holidays, my price starts at £600 (which can include your trial). On weekdays and off-peak (Nov-Apr) my price starts at £475.
CAN YOU DO JUST HAIR OR JUST MAKE-UP FOR MY WEDDING?
Of course! I love doing both hair and make-up, but if you have another hair stylist or make-up artist you would like to use alongside me, or would prefer to do one yourself, that's fine!
I HAVE A LARGE BRIDAL PARTY, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE US?
Yes, if additional stylists are needed due to your ceremony time, or extra bridal party members, there is a charge of £125 per stylist.
HOW MUCH IS IT FOR TRAVEL?
Travel requirements within a 15 mile of radius of SM6 will not incur any cost, if it is reasonable to avoid central London. Travel expenses within mainland UK outside of the 15 mile radius will be charged at 0.50p per mile inclusive of return journey. If travel through central London is required a set fee of £35.00
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I am insured and as is everyone else I work with.
IS THERE A BOOKING FEE?
A non-refundable 25% or £150 deposit (whichever is lower) is taken when you make your bridal booking which comes off your final invoice. This deposit covers admin costs and holding your date in the diary.
DO I NEED A TRIAL?
The trial is the perfect opportunity for us to try out different styles and looks, and to decide together what will work best to enhance your features and make you feel your best on the day. Sometimes, a trial also allows us to work out what you don't want! It will make the day run smoother as we have already discussed your look in detail before creating it on the day.
WHERE AND WHEN WILL MY TRIAL BE?
Your trial will be held at my home in Wallington. Trials arranged at the client's location have a surcharge of £50 as well as the travel fees detailed above. I usually recommend the trial to be around 8-12 weeks before the wedding. Trials are held on weekdays. Weekend and bank holiday trials can be arranged in exceptional circumstances and have an additional charge of £50.
HOW LONG WILL MY TRIAL LAST?
Trials last anywhere between 2-4 hours depending on your personal requirements. To ensure the smooth running of your trial, I will send you full details of how to best prepare.
CAN I BOOK A TRIAL WITHOUT SECURING MY DATE?
Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate trials unless your deposit has been paid to confirm your wedding date.
WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY AFTER MY TRIAL?
I hope that this would never happen as I work my best with you to ensure we find a look and style to compliment you and make you feel at your very best. We would start by having a second trial, and making sure we are both happy with the looks we are creating. However, if you no longer wanted to book for your wedding day, you are not committed to, but the deposit and the equivalent cost of the trial would be retained. Deposits are non-refundable and covers admin costs and holding your wedding date in the diary.
WHAT ARE YOU TERMS AND CONDITIONS?
When booking, you will be sent a full contract which includes all the terms and conditions, including the policy for if your wedding is postponed/cancelled due to circumstances out of your control. You are welcome to read over these terms and conditions before committing to your booking.
